# pac.fail

> The public record of PAC failure: an encyclopedia of FEC non-compliance by
> political action committees — administrative fines, enforcement matters
> (MURs), and late filings — cross-referenced by committee, treasurer, vendor,
> and candidate, with the legal citation on every finding. Data refreshes
> nightly from FEC.gov.

Findings carry one of three provenance labels: "FEC record" (published
Commission enforcement case), "computed" (date math on the committee's own
filings), or "AI-flagged" (unconfirmed pattern observation, explicitly not a
violation). Nothing is editorial; every finding links its FEC source record.
